Inside with Kravitz and Lerner: Kobe Bryant Legacy

Kobe Bryant, 41, tragically died this Sunday, January 26, 2020 in a helicopter accident in Calabasas, California. 

Bryant’s daughter, Gianna Bryant was one among the other 7 passengers who died in the accident.Bryant and his crew were on their way to his daughter’s travel basketball game.

 Kobe Bryant has impacted many people on and off the court. One of Bryant’s close family friends is Atlanta Hawks star guard Trae Young. Trae Young honored Bryant for a couple of nights by starting the game with number eight rather than his usual number 11 to honor the late Lakers legend. 

As well as Young, the entire NBA did 24 and eight second violations yesterday to honor his two numbers, 8 and 24. Bryant was born in Pennsylvania, so to pay tribute, The Philadelphia 76ers rang the Liberty Bell with his High School jersey next to it. 

 Many former teammates have sent their condolences and have told stories about times they played with and against him. 

His legacy remains with his wife Vanessa and his 3 other kids Natalia, Bianka and Capri. Mourners from all across the world have put their sorrows out for him and his family.
